Want to help with something?

Well first make sure that you have (a lot of) free time and that you are very motivated! Being inexperienced isn’t a problem, but you have to remember that being part of a scanlation team is really time-consuming, thus it shouldn’t be decided on a whim.
Here is a description of the jobs you can apply for:

Translator
Well, the translator… translates! We are recruiting only “Japanese to English” translators, at least for now.

Proofreader
The proofreader is in charge of correcting and rephrasing the translation. Since the translators are busy enough understanding the meaning of the Japanese sentences, they don’t have to care about grammar and perfect formulation. That’s the proofreader’s job. So , you need to know English very well.

Editor
The editor is in charge of cleaning the japanese scans:
–> Rotating, cropping, resizing, leveling the scans and getting rid of all the Japanese text, including the SFX.
Then he is in charge of typesetting:
–> Typing the English text on the cleaned scans.
For all this, we use Adobe Photoshop.

The tests are being made, if you want to apply please visit this page again in a few days!
